Gatehouse Quarter

This project is the redevelopment of a redundant industrial site of circa 8.5 hectares located within the inner ring road, close to the town centre. The redevelopment of the site presents an opportunity to rationalise the land-use pattern, improve connections and regenerate the site and adjacent areas. The redevelopment proposals comprise a mix of commercial and employment uses providing more diverse local employment, together with a residential development of town houses and apartments arranged around a network of streets, squares and crescents.

The proposal comprises detail design for an HQ office, 80 bed hotel, retail uses and warehouse units, and outline master planning design for the whole site and a residential element to be implemented by others.
