Beside the seaside but rarely beside the sea; A seaside resort without a pier; A fishing town that uses tractors instead of boats.
The proposal for the redevelopment of the central promenade area is focused around resolving these contradictions and puttg together the missing parts to reinvent Morecambe as a vibrant seaside destination to match it’s Edwardian heyday.
