The former disused Sun Print works is a ‘gateway’ site being located on Whippendell Road, one of the main arterial routes into central Watford.  The project evolved from a designated employment site into a high density mixed use development including health club, office/showroom, nursing home, day nursery, medical centre, retail units, a hotel and A3 unit, plus open space, associated new and modified accesses, pedestrian / cycle routes and car parking.

The further evolution in the proposals from the consented scheme reflect the changes in the economic climate and accommodates substantially pre let uses as well as those which provide a service to the community. These are the essential elements that contribute to the success of this mixed-use development and assist in the regeneration of the local environment and community
